This event was established in 2014 in London, Ontario. In 11 years, we have hosted 8 amazing events, supported multiple charity organizations, and we have already begun planning our 9th event for 2027 in Toronto, Ontario (our third year in Toronto!).

Each event we host, we select a local charity to raise money for with our silent auction and other projects, such as the charity anthology filled with stories written by Ignite's attending authors. In the past, we have raised proceeds for Wounded Warriors Canada, Alzheimer Society, MS Society, National Service Dogs, SickKids Foundation, and Fred Victor.

With hosting an event for over a decade, we've adapted and overcome so much! With your never-ending support, Ignited By Books continues to grow and help local charities supporting individuals and families in need. One of the things that remains constant is our intention to keep growing, which allows us to offer more to our book community and local charities. In order to continue to meet our goals, we continue to function as a non-profit business in Ontario and volunteer our time to make Ignited By Books Author Event what it is today!
